Who does everyone think is the worst sports analyst? My vote is for Billy Packer. My opinion on Billy is based mostly on his work from several years ago. I haven't heard much of his work lately because I usually mute the volume every time I hear him doing a game. I still remember him saying, "Larry Bird isn't good enough to carry Phil Ford's gym bag." "Who's Phil Ford?" you're probably asking. My point exactly!
My second place vote for worst game analyst goes to Dan Dierdorf, or "Dan Dumbdork," as I like to call him. Dick Vitale can be pretty bad, but at least he is entertaining. Kieth Jackson also usually results in muting. Kieth is entertaining as well, but he is such a PAC 10 homer that I can't stand to listen to him.
