WKRN in Nashville is reporting that Adam Jones received "several driving citations" after being pulled over by a sheriff's deputy on June 10th at 8:30 a.m. Apparently Pac Man was stopped because the license plate didn't match the $300,000 Lamborghini he was driving. It doesn't appear to be a big deal as Pac Man had just switched the plate from another vehicle that he does legally own. Police did cite him with a registration violation as well as failure to produce proof of insurance, and also for a residency violation for still having a Georgia driver's license.
I don't know Adam from Adam (sorry, I couldn't resist that one.) But, surely to God someone who makes that kind of money could afford to register and license his Lamborghini. And the guy isn't playing football right now, wouldn't you think that he could find the time to go get a new driver's license for the state that he actually lives in? At least he didn't get pulled over at 3:00 A.M. this time. I saw the 8:30 A.M. in the original story and had to wonder if Pac Man was still out from the night before.
I'm going to refrain from judging the guy because I don't know him, but he needs to get his act together if he ever wants to play football again.
