The University of Kentucky basketball team will NOT be having their annual Blue-White scrimmage game this season. Coach Gillespie has apparently decided that with their first exhibition game scheduled for October 31st the team needs all the practice time they can get. So, there will be no Blue-White game to kick off the UK basketball season for the first time in at least 40 years.
There was no mention whether the Blue-White game will return next season. You can read the Lexington Herald-Leader story here.
