It has just been announced that 6'8" power forward Chris Singleton plans to attend Florida State University.
Singleton is listed as a 4 star recruit by Scout.com.
Chris chose Florida State over Kentucky.
All is not lost, however. 4 star recruit Darius Miller and 5 star recruit DeAndre Liggins still make UK's '08 recruiting class one of the best in the country. Darius Miller signed his Letter Of Intent this morning and Liggins is reportedly going to sign this afternoon. The Big Blue has verbal commitments from class of '09 3 star PG GJ Vilarino, and the '10 class has verbals from 3 star PG KC Ross-Miller and 4 star PF Dakotah Euton.
It would have been nice to have seen Singleton join Patterson on the Kentucky front line next year, but I have faith in Billy Gillespie's recruiting prowess. I am sure Billy Clyde will find another quality big man.
